Salley Garden Players present Maud Gonne Says No to the Poet

Set in Maud's apartment in France, past lover, William Butler Yeats arrives to tell Maud that her estranged husband has been executed. Maud introduced Yeats to Irish Nationalism which culminated in the Easter Uprising in 1916. Yeats, desperately in love, asks Maud one last time to marry him.
